Bounty-Wide Efforts
The Marketing Bounty continues to actively receive and fund initiatives. In December, we focused on:
- Structuring and Streamlining Operations:
- Continued to refine internal workflows, including submission reviews, proposal feedback, and voting processes.
- Worked on resolving internal bottlenecks by adding new roles to improve quality control, content distribution, and community management.
- Held two weekly curator calls, open office hours, and held a public community call to ensure transparency and engagement with the Polkadot community.
- Polkadot Community Management Program:
- Successfully hired Moonbearer as the Global Community Lead, who has made remarkable progress in just two weeks, and onboarded four additional community managers with complementary skills.
- The program established a clear vision to unite the fragmented Polkadot community and transform Discord and Telegram into organized, welcoming hubs for knowledge-sharing and engagement.
- Progress was made on initiatives such as feeless NFT minting for onboarding via Nova Wallet, Discord restructuring, and a tiered member progression system to enhance user experience.
- Quality Control & Content
- We onboarded Enrique (from Alpha Airdrop) as the Content Lead, tasked with coordinating creating and distributing high-quality, ecosystem-aligned content to enhance Polkadot’s visibility across various channels. Enrique will focus on curating, correcting, and managing content production pipelines, ensuring that key messages are delivered effectively to target audiences.
- We also onboarded Goku as the Small Content Creator Lead, to provide support and a platform for emerging creators within the ecosystem. Goku will work to identify, guide, and connect smaller creators with relevant Polkadot initiatives, giving them a space to contribute while ensuring their efforts are amplified through coordinated campaigns. Together, this team aims to build a thriving content ecosystem that aligns with Polkadot’s broader marketing goals and strengthens community engagement.
Ecosystem Engagement
The curators continued to engage with key Polkadot stakeholders to foster collaboration and drive ecosystem growth. Throughout December, we facilitated discussions and meetings with:
- Protocols, Initiatives, and Wallets: PMEI, Nova Wallet, Hyperbridge, SubWallet, Hydration, and Mythical, Talisman
