SCOPE & BUDGET
Scope of Work
- Press Relations Strategy
Develop and execute an overarching PR plan that aligns with Polkadot's long-term goals, laying the groundwork for consistent messaging and targeted outreach efforts.
- Regularly engage top-tier journalists and media outlets with Polkadot-related content that effectively reaches our target audience(s)
- Offer press outreach strategies and collaborate on global product launches, major milestones, sponsorships, and other zany crypto things
- Pitch tailored news items and earn organic media coverage for both B2C and B2B markets, across many different verticals
- Highlight our community, users, and governance platform to build credibility, spur outside engagement, and promote the power of decentralized governance and Polkadot’s forward-thinking tech
- Thought Leadership
Identify and support media engagements and speaking opportunities for our globally decentralized thought leaders. Help encourage and build rapport directly between journalists and spokespeople.
- Proactively search out and bring incoming thought leadership opportunities that insert voices from the Polkadot ecosystem into topical, fast-moving industry trend pieces.
- Pitch and place longer-form content such as op-eds and media appearances, fireside chats, webinars, podcasts, and Twitter (X) Spaces.
- Documentation and Tracking
Provide regular progress and results updates that track the success of the PR strategy.
- Communicate directly with the Marketing bounty and Distractive via Slack or Telegram.
